New Beer on tap- Iron Jack Lager
We have added Iron Jack Full Strength Lager to our list of beers on tap. Brewed in Australia, this is an easy to drink lager that will satisfy any thirst.
Iron Jack is brewed with Australia's hot, rugged climate in mind, for maximum thirst crushing refreshment. Best enjoyed over a good yarn.
Available in pots, schooners, pints or jugs.
All of our beers on tap are now available in Pints.
Just in time for Summer.

New Head Chef- Pierre Khodja
Introducing our new Head Chef Mr Pierre Khodja.
Pierre was born in Algeria and grew up with his parents and six brothers and sisters. His mother was his first inspiration and teacher, having to turn simplistic and minimal ingredients into meals to feed the whole family. Today, Pierre remains passionate about the food of his home, and combines elements of this food with his classic French technique and training.
Pierre commenced training as a chef in Paris. He then moved to London, taking a position under Guy Mouillron at Ma Cuisine, which was awarded two Michelin Stars. Following this, Pierre moved to Roof Garden at the Royal Garden Hotel which had one Michelin Star, working under Remy Frugere.
His first Head Chef Position was at Restaurant San Carlo, which led him to work with Bruno Loubet at the famous Bistro Loubet. During his time, the restaurant was awarded many accolades — including a Michelin Red M, three AA Rosettes and an Evening Standard Eros Award.
Pierre moved to Australia in 2001 with his family, establishing a restaurant on the Mornington Peninsula, Albert Street, where he was awarded a Hat by The Age Good Food Guide. His love of spices was used to bring exotic dishes to an area that had yet to be exposed to such things.
Following this he went to Canvas in Hawthorn from 2006 to 2011, gaining one Hat in 2010 and again in 2011. He then returned to the Mornington Peninsula to The Flinders Hotel — Terminus Restaurant, where he embraced the local fresh produce and the way of life and could pass on his passion to young chefs whilst offering a destination for foodies throughout Victoria and Australia. He was awarded a Chef's Hat three consecutive years in a row in 2013, 2014, 2015.
In 2017, Pierre embarked upon a collaborative project in Melbourne's trendy suburb of Northcote. Camus was an immersive experience into the heart of Pierre's style and technique. In its first year, Camus was featured in The Age Good Food Guide, and named one of the Top 10 Restaurants by the Herald Sun in 2017.
As of June 2019 Pierre has joined us at The Railway Hotel where he has created a spectacular Modern Mediterranean menu with some pub classics.

Our Head Chef Pierre has worked tirelessly to create a spectacular menu of modern Mediterranean dishes with a handful of pub classics.
With an extensive array of snacks, a mix of entrees and a large amount of Main dishes to choose from there is sure to be something that will delight your culinary senses.
oh and don't forget the future generations....we have added a Children's menu that covers all the bases.
Our menus are designed around the freshest local and seasonal produce, this includes our lunch menu Main bar menu, seated Function menu and Grazing Function menu.
